Hi, I'm Lisa—the designer and maker behind FO|MA.
I've been designing and making jewelry for over 20 years. What started as a creative outlet after the birth of my daughter, grew into years of selling my designs through boutiques and private trunk shows, all while building a career as a marketing executive.
In 2024, I decided it was time to trade in my corporate career for my jewelry workbench, and to finally turn a part-time passion into a full-time journey.
The name FO|MA comes from Fontaine + Marie—the middle names of my daughter and me. She's been my inspiration and motivation from the very beginning, and is even more so today as we collaborate to create designs that span generations of women.
Why Small batch?
Fewer pieces. More intention.
I make FO|MA jewelry in limited quantity, small batches rather than mass producing designs. That means more of “Wow, where did you get that?” and less of “Oh, I have the same thing.”
Every piece is handcrafted to order in my studio, within 1-3 days, using natural gemstones, freshwater pearls and quality metals.
Working in small batches gives me the freedom to design around gemstones and pearls I genuinely love, pay attention to every detail, avoid carrying unnecessary inventory, while continually creating new designs and collections.
Sometimes a design comes back. Sometimes it evolves into something different. And sometimes, once it's gone, it's gone.
Made for today, loved for years.
I love a good jewelry trend, but I don't design around them.
One of my favorite things is hearing from someone who still wears a necklace I made 15 or even 20 years ago. That's exactly the kind of jewelry I want to create—pieces you love wearing today and will still reach for years from now.
I design everything from simple everyday layers to more statement-making pieces, always with versatility in mind. Jewelry you can wear on its own, mix with what you already own, dress up or throw on with your favorite jeans.
And as your style changes through different seasons of life, I hope your FO|MA pieces will evolve right along with you.
